What Is Aging

Aging As a General :

Aging is a word generally used for entire changes that a body undergoes with the passage of time.The reason behind the curiosity of aging arise when one look at himself/herself .Because when we grow up right from our childhood to boyhood and then to maturity after ward we are lead to our terminal point , that is so called death in general.Aging is not just confined to a man himself or just for the plants and animals  only but it covers the whole universe viz universe have its age.

Reasons Behind Aging :

Aging is a steady process of going old .When a cell is produced it is programmed to grow upto a genetically programmed size and eventually it gives rise to daughter cells and hence circle goes as from the very beginning .But problem arise here when a cell undergo a change in its genetic substances or accidental which may be physical in case of cell or whole body in example of human.If the death of cell is genetically programmed then it is termed as nacrosis otherwise accidental death is named apoptosis .

Aging In Case Of Plants :

Plants ,more specifically trees grow beyond the limits of age or years ,that doesnot mean that plants are eternal .Because no living thing on earth can live everlasting or forever that is the essence of lessons that we should mind for happy living and be away from wrecked life.In plants aging process occurs slowly and there is a function called secondary growth .When we talk about primary growth of trees that is to say for its tallness and and increasing length while secondary growth helps its increasing diameter of the stem and other major branches that not only gives support to the increasing new branches but also houses the ever growing leaves and thus makes the room for xylem and phloem as demand rises .Cambium is the key for secondary growth that form the rings .
